With a unique heritage in fish and a history stretching back over 200 years, Young’s is the UK’s leading supplier. The company was started way back in the early nineteenth century by Elizabeth Young on the Thames, later it was the first to import frozen salmon from Canada and in the 1940’s Young’s marketed the first frozen peeled prawns.

Today Young’s is still the UK’s most famous name in seafood and it has for many years been a pioneer in the drive to improve sustainability in seafood, developing an award-winning ‘Fish for Life’ programme.

Young’s for Chefs is a dedicated foodservice business and as a leading supplier to the catering industry we offer an extensive portfolio of products to foodservice caterers – from luxury products such as smoked salmon and prawns to old favourites including fish fingers and fish cakes. Our portfolio of products includes a variety of brands to meet the needs of the different sectors of the market.
